A lovely family based in Peckham, London, is seeking an experienced Afterschool Nanny to care for their two children, aged 4 and 6 years old.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of childcare experience and be warm, reliable, organised, and confident supporting young children's daily routines and development. Someone who enjoys creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment while encouraging learning through play would be well suited to this role.
The nanny will be responsible for ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development after school. Duties include preparing healthy meals and snacks, supporting homework, planning engaging activities, encouraging early literacy through reading, and maintaining the children's daily routines. The role also involves keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean and organised. Weekly Thursday evening babysitting is included as part of the position.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Tuesday to Friday, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, plus Thursday babysitting from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm, for a total of 16 hours per week.
