A lovely family in Fareham, Hampshire, is looking for a bright, energetic Au Pair to help look after their toddler. Previous childcare experience of at least 1 year is required. The ideal candidate will be confident in creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment through play, reading, creative activities, and outdoor time. The family does not allow TV in the mornings, so they are looking for someone who will actively interact and encourage the child’s learning and development. English speaking is perfectly suitable. A valid first aid qualification is a must.

Accommodation: A comfortable private master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom located on the top floor of the family home, providing privacy and comfort.

Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with some Sundays required. Typical hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Duties include:

• Providing attentive and nurturing care for a lovely child.
• Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities, including educational play, reading, creative activities, and outdoor adventures where possible.
• Supporting the child’s daily routines, encouraging independence and development, and ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being at all times.
• Light housekeeping duties related to the child, including children’s laundry, tidying play areas, and cleaning the kitchen after preparing meals and snacks.
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child. The family eats halal food.

The family is looking for someone to start on 30 August 2026.
