Au Pair in Hampshire, Job ID J22030

A dedicated, and trustworthy live-in rota au pair/driver is needed by a Southampton-based family to care for their 5-year-old boy. The role follows a one week on, one week off schedule, making it ideal for someone looking for a rota position. The family will provide a car for the au pair to use.

Working hours: One week on followed by one week off, with handover from Tuesday afternoon to the following Tuesday afternoon.

Accommodation: Private live-in accommodation with an en-suite bathroom. During the week off, the au pair is welcome to stay at the family home and enjoy the house privately while the parents are working and the child is away.

Duties include:

• caring for the 5-year-old child
• ensuring the child is safe, happy, and well cared for
• organising age-appropriate activities and educational play
• keeping the child entertained through engaging games
• supporting homework and learning
• maintaining the child's daily routines
• carrying out general childcare duties
• preparing meals and snacks for the child
• keeping the child's areas tidy
• carrying out light housekeeping related to the child and household

A full UK driving licence is required for this position. The family is looking for someone to start at the end of August.
