A lovely family based in Ilford, Essex, is looking for a Live-in Au Pair to help care for their school-aged child and toddler. They are seeking a flexible and proactive individual who is eager to be part of the family and can take on all general childcare responsibilities. Duties include cooking for the children, assisting with daily routines, and accompanying them to age-appropriate activities. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Wednesday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Thursday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, approximately 25 hours per week

Accommodation: Bedroom and shared bathroom

Duties include:

• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Carrying out light housekeeping duties related to the children
• Cooking for the children, including preparing breakfast and lunches
