A lovely family based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, is seeking an Au Pair to help care for their pre-school and school-aged children.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of childcare experience and will speak English and French. Someone warm, reliable, organised, and confident supporting children’s daily routines would be ideal for this role.
The au pair will be responsible for school drop-offs and pick-ups, supporting the children’s hygiene and daily routines, preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, and engaging the children in play, reading, educational activities, and outdoor outings.
The role will also include keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy, as well as 1 hour of housekeeping during the day. Cooking will mainly be based around the children, although cooking for the family would be a bonus.
The family has a medium-sized dog, so someone comfortable around dogs would be ideal. Dog care would be a bonus. A driver is required for this role, and the family requires someone who can drive an automatic car.
The candidate will be provided with a private room and either a shared or private bathroom.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 8:00 and 15:30 to 18:30, with 1 hour of housekeeping during the day. Extra babysitting hours may be required and can be flexible.
