Au Pair Job

A family is looking for a French speaking Au Pair to join their family in Basildon to help care for their three children, a toddler and two primary school aged children. The Au Pair will be needed Monday to Friday for up to 35 hours per week and will be provided with a spacious bedroom and a shared bathroom. The family would like the Au Pair to speak French so they are able to help encourage the children to learn the language.

The Au Pair will be responsible for duties that include:

• getting the children up and ready in the morning
• school and nursery runs
• organising playdates and playgroups
• reading stories
• preparing meals and snacks
• helping the older children with homework
• playing games
• taking the children to parks and playgrounds
• putting the toddler down for naps
• helping with the bath and bedtime routine

The Au Pair will also be responsible for:

• organising the children's laundry
• cleaning up after meals
• organising the children's things for the next day
