Birmingham Housekeeper, live in position

A Birmingham-based family is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain their home in a very clean and organised environment in a live-in position. They seek someone who is reliable and hardworking and takes initiative in all general housekeeping duties. The housekeeper will be expected to cook and prepare meals for the children. Someone who knows to drive would be a bonus for this role. This Birmingham family ideally seeks someone who is willing to join them when they travel.. Big preference for Greek speakers but they seek someone who has a good level of English.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, 60 hours a week.

Accommodation: Separate annex with own bedroom, bathroom and kitchen

Duties include:

• loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
• dusting furniture
• freshening the rooms
• doing the laundry and ironing of the family
• dusting
• hoovering the carpets and floors
• ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
• polishing floor
• preparing and cooking simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
• running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills

They are keen to hire as soon as possible.
