Family hiring full time nanny housekeeper

A German-speaking experienced Nanny Housekeeper is needed in the Haringey area to help a family look after their two school-aged children on a long-term basis. An ideal candidate will be someone energetic, professional and proactive who can help children with their homework. This Haringey-based family owns a dog so the nanny housekeeper must be comfortable around animals. Driving is a must. It would also be ideal if the nanny housekeeper is a German speaker. Afterschool nanny candidates may apply.

A valid first aid qualification is essential to this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10 am to 8 pm

Duties include:

• Responsible for the safety, well-being, care, and development of the children.
• Implementing daily routines.
• Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Organising and participating in activities with the children.
• Washing and bathing the children.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors.
• Dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings.
• Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs, and showers.
• Deep cleaning the kitchen.
• Washing clothes.
• Unloading the laundry and organising the clothes.
• Ironing their clothes.
• Making up the beds and changing the linens.
• Washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher.
• Cleaning the windows and mirrors
• Tidying up the children’s bedrooms and play areas.

The candidate must be willing to start by the 19th of June 2023.
