Family in OXFORDSHIRE searching for Live-in Nanny

A family in Oxfordshire is searching for a Live-in Nanny to help them look after their baby and two school-aged children. The main care is for the baby as the older two are at school full-time. The nanny will be doing the school pick up and mum is doing the drop-off. All nanny and nursery duties are required, and housekeeping duties related to the children and cooking their meals are essential. Someone who is a good cook, who has an awareness of healthy eating for children would be ideal for them. Someone with common sense, who is okay to empty the dishwasher and unload the washing machine if she sees it full and clean. There is a friendly Labrador dog in the house so someone comfortable around animals would be important. Twice a year the parents will require a weekend proxy parenting so they can have a weekend away.

A valid first aid qualification is absolute requirement.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 7:00 pm

Accommodation: Large ensuite bedroom on the ground floor (Separated from the other bedrooms of the house)

Duties include:

• Preparing healthy and varied meals for the children
• organising the children’s daily schedule
• changing nappies
• Cleaning and sterilising bottles
• Setting up nap routine
• washing and dressing the children
• playing with the children
• taking track of the child’s development and updating the parents
• making sure the child is always safe and happy
• organising the children’s clothes
• doing laundry and ironing the children’s clothes
• making sure the children’s room is always clean
• doing occasional grocery shopping for the children’s supplies

This Oxfordshire household is looking for someone who can start this October.
