French speaking Live in Nanny

A Live-In French-speaking Nanny is needed to look after two school-aged children in Chelsea, London. Someone flexible to travel with the family would be advantageous. The family is looking for a loving, energetic, disciplined and organised Nanny with ample experience caring for small children and living with a family. Someone who speaks French would be advantageous for this role to help the children communicate well using the language.

The working hours for this position would be Monday to Friday, full time with flexibility. A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position. The family has a housekeeper that takes care of all the cleaning and laundry, but Nanny is responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and tidy and keeping play areas and children’s bedroom tidy.

Duties for this position would include

• getting the children ready in the morning and taking them to school
• collecting children from school
• preparing meals and snacks
• arranging playdates
• helping with their homework
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to them
• tidying away their toys after use – children to help
• helping with the evening routine, eg help children organise their bags for the next day
• light laundry of children’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping
