A busy and well-known family based in Kuwait is seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee the smooth running of their large private household.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience managing large private properties and will speak fluent English. Someone proactive, sharp, highly organised, discreet, and confident managing a busy household would be ideal for this role. A female candidate is highly preferred.
The estate consists of three houses located on the same property, where the family lives together. The House Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a team of 15 to 20 staff members, including housekeepers, chefs, drivers, security staff, and nannies.
The family is looking for someone who can manage people well, respect their privacy, and adapt to a busy and changing environment. The successful candidate should be able to think ahead, anticipate needs, and keep the household running smoothly.
A good understanding of Middle Eastern culture would be highly beneficial. The candidate should also be willing to learn local hosting customs and become familiar with the family’s specific habits, routines, and household standards.
There are school-aged children living in the home, although no childcare duties are required. The family also owns dogs and cats, though the pets mainly stay outside. The candidate will be provided with a separate bedroom and their own private space within the house. Worldwide travel with the family may be required, and a driver would be a bonus.
