A family based in London (Postcode: W8), is looking for an experienced, highly diligent Full-Time Housekeeper to manage their household and support their daily routines. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional housekeeping experience in high-end private residences, fluent English, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
Additional Details: The household includes school-age children (where the housekeeper will coordinate with the main nanny for pick-ups and clubs when children need to be transported separately) and cats (requiring daily feeding, fresh water, litter box care, and supplies management).
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00, total of 40 hours per week.
Duties include:
- Housekeeping & Maintenance: Regularly vacuuming and washing floors (2–3 times a week); dusting all surfaces (shelves, bookcases, window sills, and skirting boards); making family beds daily; changing bed linens, towels, and bath mats twice a week; keeping the kitchen spotless and appliances clean; cleaning bathrooms; taking out rubbish daily; and proactively identifying and cleaning non-regular items (such as windows, door tops, light fixtures, and blinds).
- Laundry & Wardrobe Care: Managing all family laundry and bed sheets with an expert understanding of fabric care instructions; handling dry cleaning drop-offs and pick-ups; and being proficient in ironing a wide variety of garments (including silk, linen, shirts, and trousers) as well as bed linen.
- Childcare Coordination: Working alongside the main nanny to coordinate school pick-ups and club transport when children need to be taken to separate locations.
- Cooking & Household Management: Preparing nutritious meals for the children during the week when requested, and assisting with adult dinner preparation as directed; handling basic grocery shopping and online deliveries; watering house plants; accepting deliveries; and taking responsibility for ordering and stocking domestic cleaning supplies and necessities.
- Pet Care: Feeding the cats and changing their water 2–3 times daily; cleaning and maintaining their litter boxes daily (with weekly litter replacement); and ordering cat food and litter supplies.
The family is looking for someone who can start on 5 October 2026.
