Full-time Housekeeper role in W11, Job ID J1989E

A Full-time Housekeeper is needed by this wonderful family in Notting Hill, London to help them in maintaining the cleanliness of their home. An ideal candidate will be someone practical, highly organised and proactive who can help run the home. They would like someone who can help out in whichever way is required and will go the extra mile without instruction. The housekeeper will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family and helping with dinner parties. It would be ideal if the housekeeper can join them when they travel worldwide for 3 to 4 weeks per year. A strong level of English is required and a muck-in attitude is preferred. Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, 40 hours per week

Duties include:

• Running the home and keeping everything organised.
• Maintaining a clean family home
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors
• Wardrobe management
• Dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
• Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs and showers
• Deep cleaning the kitchen
• Washing clothes
• Unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
• Ironing
• Making up the beds and changing the linens
• Washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• Running errands (dry cleaners, post office etc.)
• Can deal with contractors and greet guests
• Grocery shopping and organising the fridge
• Cooking for the family and helping with dinner parties

The family are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
