Full-Time Housekeeper to start asap

A high net worth client who comes to London for a few days per month is looking for a Housekeeper Cook to be on call for him when he is at his London Apartment. The ideal candidate will be able to work on short notice when the client informs them they are coming to London and make sure the apartment is meticulously maintained when he is not, though they will not have to be there full time when the client is away. The client is happy to provide an excellent full-time salary for the position.

Big preference for English speakers however they can consider Hindi, Nepali or Urdu.

Working hours: On call when the client is in the country, the rest of the time can be very flexible and could be once a week. The client's days in London typically range from 8 am to 10 pm. A total of 40 hours per week.

Duties include:

• Maintain up-keep of furniture, art, china, collectables, crystal and silver polishing
• Keep a constant supply of household essentials (water, coffee etc) and cleaning materials
• Prepare for the arrival of visitors and various needs when staying
• Assistance with luggage, packing and unpacking for journeys
• Shopping and ad hoc errands as required
• Maintenance when principals are not in residence
• Co-ordinating deliveries and maintenance visits
• Make-up beds and change linens
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
• General laundry and ironing including daily laundry, ironing and change of towels plus weekly change of bedding

They are looking for someone who can start immediately but are happy to wait for the right candidate.
