Full-Time International Nanny in Central Madrid, Spain, Job ID J22A45

A lovely family who recently relocated from London to Central Madrid is looking for an experienced, professional Full-Time International Nanny to join their household and care for their two children: a 3-month-old baby boy and a 2-year-old girl (who attends nursery Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:30).

The family is open to either a live-in or live-out arrangement. For live-in candidates, a private en-suite bedroom with its own separate entrance (the largest room in the apartment) is provided in Madrid.

The ideal candidate will be a bright, warm, bubbly, and energetic professional who works collaboratively with hands-on parents, uses their initiative, and brings confidence in setting boundaries, managing tantrums calmly, and creating a balance of structure, learning, and fun. Fluent English, Spanish, or French is required. A valid driver's licence is considered a bonus but is not required.

Important Health Note: The 3-month-old baby has a cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA) and must strictly avoid all dairy products. Candidates must be confident and mindful regarding allergen management.

A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday (approximately 10 to 11 hours per day) plus Saturdays from 09:00 to 15:00, totaling approximately 55 hours per week (with flexibility for the right candidate).

Duties include:

• primary focus during the day on caring for the baby boy, alongside confidence in caring for both children together when required
• managing daily childcare routines, engaging the children in developmental play, and supporting toddler behaviour management
• preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children (with a strong awareness of the baby's CMPA dairy-free requirements); cooking for the wider family is welcomed as a bonus
• liaising with the household housekeeper and overseeing areas related to the children (Note: No deep cleaning is required, as a housekeeper is employed.)
• accompanying the family on regular travel—particularly during July and August to destinations such as the South of France, London, and Gloucestershire—maintaining normal working hours and assisting with proxy parenting when required (with grandparent support also available)

The family is looking for someone who can start in October 2027 (with flexibility).
