Full-Time Live-In Au Pair or Nanny in Norfolk, Job ID J229CE

A family based in Norfolk is looking for an experienced, adaptable Full-Time, Live-In Au Pair or Nanny to care for their 3-year-old preschooler. The ideal candidate will be a confident driver with their own driving experience, comfortable around animals (as the household includes 2 dogs and 1 cat), and capable of following specific dietary requirements (preparing dairy-free meals, as the child has a milk intolerance).

Note on Experience: Candidates applying for the Nanny tier should have 2+ years of professional childcare experience. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Accommodation & Perks: Private bedroom with a private bathroom in a brand-new home, with full board included. An automatic car is provided for work duties and family use only.

Working hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday (exact hours to be confirmed). Note: This role requires covering approximately 17 weekend days per year with advance notice, as well as occasional travel to Europe.

Duties include:

• performing daily preschool drop-offs and collections (involving a 45-minute drive using the provided automatic vehicle)
• managing morning preparation, including children's clothing and packed lunches, alongside general hygiene and routine care
• preparing and serving dairy-free evening meals and snacks tailored to the child's milk intolerance
• engaging the child in age-appropriate play, one-to-one developmental activities, and structured bedtime routines
• maintaining a tidy environment, handling washing and laundry duties, and organising the child’s belongings and play areas
• providing weekend and holiday support, plus accompanying the family on occasional European travel

The family is looking for someone who can start on 30 November 2026.
