Full Time Live out Overseas Nanny

Overseas Live-out Nanny is needed to have a sole charge of a lovely toddler in Portugal. The working days and hours will usually be from Monday to Friday, full time, but sometimes shorter hours per day. Travel is required within this role, shorter trips to London every other month, as well as other locations and whilst travelling accommodation, will be provided. A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Whilst in Portugal, the role is on a live-out basis, with the idea that the Nanny will have own place, but the family will assist with this at the start and will provide a place to stay for the initial few weeks period. A driver would be ideal but not a deal-breaker.

Duties would include

• changing nappies and helping with potty/toilet training,
• teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners,
• creating activities and playdates,
• preparing and administering healthy food for the little child,
• preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime,
• cleaning and washing up after child’s meals,
• washing and ironing child’s clothes,
• and reporting every activities and issue to the parents.

The Nanny will also be responsible for doing some light childcare housekeeping such as

• organising the child’s clothes,
• doing laundry and ironing the child’s clothes,
• making sure the child’s room is always clean
• and doing occasional grocery shopping of the child’s supplies.

The ideal candidate will need to speak excellent English (Portuguese would be a huge plus), be experienced and professional, mature and easy-going, and looking for a long term commitment. The family would need someone to start as soon as possible.
