A lovely family based in Hampstead, London, is seeking an experienced Nanny-Housekeeper to help care for their two children, aged 5 and 9 years old, while supporting the smooth running of their home. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and will speak fluent English. Someone organised, reliable, proactive, and confident balancing childcare and housekeeping duties would be ideal for this role. The nanny-housekeeper will be responsible for school pick-ups, safely bringing the children home, and accompanying them to after-school and weekend activities, such as swimming, tennis, and similar activities. The role will also include preparing healthy meals and snacks, supporting piano practice and reading, helping with homework when needed, and maintaining the children’s routines and activity schedules. The candidate will also help encourage tidiness by supporting the children with organising their toys, clothes, and personal spaces. The family requires someone mindful of allergies, as the children have a nut allergy. Housekeeping duties will include laundry, ironing, family meal preparation, cleaning, vacuuming, general tidying, decluttering, organising, and light outdoor work around the garden and patio. The role will also include day-to-day household upkeep to keep the home calm, organised, and presentable. A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Term time, Monday to Friday, 11:30 to 19:30. School holidays, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 18:30.
