Full-Time Nanny-Housekeeper in Westminster, Job ID J229CB

A family based in Westminster, London, is looking for an experienced, adaptable Nanny-Housekeeper (offering flexible Part-Time or Full-Time options) to support their household and care for their two children, aged 18 months and 3 years old. The primary focus of the childcare is on the 18-month-old, while the 3-year-old attends full-time nursery (08:30 to 15:30), working collaboratively alongside the mother as a team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of professional private household and childcare experience, excellent general housekeeping standards, and confidence in preparing family meals (cooking larger portions of what the children are eating). Willingness to travel 2–3 weeks per year is considered a bonus but not mandatory.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours & Options:

• Part-Time Option: Tuesday to Thursday from 08:00 to 18:00 (totalling 30 hours per week).
• Full-Time Option: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00 (totalling 50 hours per week). Note: The family can be flexible if the candidate prefers fewer hours in the afternoons, provided they can strictly commit to morning coverage from 08:00 to 13:00. (Additional hours or weekend help when needed are welcomed as a bonus.)

Duties include:

• Childcare: Sole focus on the 18-month-old and supporting the 3-year-old outside of nursery hours; managing nappy changes, bottle preparation, bathing, and hygiene; establishing structured daily routines; and engaging the children in interactive play, early literacy reading, and park outings.
• Housekeeping: Ensuring the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the private residence; sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces; cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and the kitchen; managing laundry, ironing, folding, bed-making, linen changes, and dishwasher operations.
• Cooking: Preparing nutritious meals for the family by cooking larger, family-sized portions of the children's meals.

The family is looking for someone who can start on 28 September 2026.
