Full-time Nanny in Camden, London, Job ID J1FFCDR

A lovely family based in Camden, London, is seeking an experienced Nanny to care for their toddler.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of childcare experience and will speak fluent English. Speaking French or Spanish would be highly desirable. The successful candidate must hold an NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care (Early Years Educator). The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, proactive, and passionate about supporting a young child's development through engaging, screen-free activities.

The nanny will be responsible for all aspects of the child's care, including supporting daily routines, planning educational activities, preparing healthy meals, and encouraging learning through play. The family follows a no-screen-time policy during working hours and is looking for someone who enjoys taking the child to parks, playgroups, and music sessions on a daily basis. The role also includes child-related housekeeping tasks, particularly while the child is napping.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, with flexibility to work until 6:00 pm on Fridays when required. The family will provide as much advance notice as possible for any extended hours.

Duties include:

• providing attentive care for a toddler
• assisting with nappy changes
• bathing and maintaining proper hygiene when required
• ensuring the child's safety, well-being, and development
• preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for the child
• establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
• engaging the child in interactive play and educational activities
• arranging daily outings to parks, playgroups, and music sessions
• encouraging early literacy by reading books
• supporting the child's educational and developmental growth
• keeping the child's bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• managing all child-related laundry, including washing, folding, and organising clothing and linens
• carrying out child-related housekeeping tasks, such as tidying play areas and preparing meals while the child is napping
• maintaining the family's no-screen-time approach throughout working hours

The family is looking for someone who can start on 14th August 2026.
