Full-Time Nanny Needed in Northumberland, Job ID J2290E

A family based in Northumberland (Postcode: NE46) is looking for an experienced, reliable Permanent, Full-Time Nanny (open to either live-out or live-in arrangements) to care for their two children, aged 7 months and 3 years old. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional childcare experience, a nurturing and safety-conscious approach, fluent English (with French speaking considered a bonus), and a valid driver's licence with their own car.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 19:00 (flexible), totaling 40 hours per week.

Duties include:

• providing comprehensive childcare for an infant and toddler, including nappy changes, bottle preparation, bathing, and maintaining proper hygiene
• ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental progress of the children through consistent daily routines
• engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, early literacy reading, and outdoor park outings
• keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• cooking and preparing nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children (considered a bonus)

The family is looking for someone who can start on 2 November 2026.
