A lovely family in Kensington, London, is seeking a full-time Nanny to care for their charming toddler. They are looking for someone independent yet communicative, who can confidently manage the child’s needs while keeping the parents informed and raising any matters that may require their attention. The role includes all general childcare duties, ensuring the toddler’s well-being, safety, and development. Flexibility to travel with the family once or twice a year would be a great bonus. While candidates who speak French or Portuguese are preferred, English-speaking applicants will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, approximately 57.5 hours per week

Duties include:

• Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for the infant
• Bathing the child and maintaining proper hygiene
• Ensuring the child’s safety, well-being, and overall development
• Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings, such as trips to the park
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books together
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child’s structure and growth
• Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child’s needs
