Full-time Nanny needed on a live-out basis

A Full-time Nanny is needed by this wonderful family in Camden, London to help them in looking after their three school-aged children. An ideal candidate will be someone fun, active, and energetic who wants to join their family. The children are very sporty and enjoy tennis, gymnastics and swimming. The nanny must be a confident swimmer, as the family have an indoor swimming pool. They also play football and the nanny must possess positive and encouraging qualities. The nanny must be able to find a common ground with all children and make learning fun for them. A driver who holds a full driving license is required and an automatic car will be provided.

Someone who can speak the French language is ideal however they can consider English-speaking candidates. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm, or 8:30 am to 8:00 pm. The children are at school during the mornings. Starting time during term time is flexible.

Duties include:

• responsible for the safety, well-being, care, and development of the children
• playing with the children and taking them to the park
• reading to and playing with the children
• helping with homework
• implementing daily routines
• spending quality time with the children after school
• engage them in a meaningful way
• planning once or twice a week a special activity
• speaking to them in French and encouraging activities that strengthen language skills
• planning ahead and ongoing research to keep a list of seasonal/indoor/outdoor activities for them to do during half term or weekends
• leasing with weekend nanny
• tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas
• keeping the playroom organised and rotating toys and games so that they use them and basic nursery duties
• providing meals and snacks for the children

The family is looking for someone to hire in September 2024 and are happy to wait for the right candidate.
