Full-time Nanny role in Islington, London, Job ID J1CA7B

A family in Islington, London is looking for a Full-time Nanny to help them in taking care of their charming toddler. They are looking for someone warm, experienced and loving who is knowledgeable about baby weaning and other early key development milestones, and generally passionate about childhood development. They need someone who can foster a creative, safe and fun-loving environment for their child to grow and learn. They would also look for someone who is happy to work alongside them and their wider family including visiting grandparents and someone who is looking to stay with one family for a number of years. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.

A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00/7:00 pm, approximately 50 hours per week plus occasional babysitting to be agreed (with a shorter hours on Friday, ideally from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm)

Duties include:

• responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of the child
• implementing daily routines (including naps and bedtimes) and working with the parents to adapt routines as the child grows
• changing nappies
• washing, bathing and dressing the child
• organising and participating in regular children's activities/classes in local area (walking distance)
• arranging regular outdoor time (garden or visits to the local park)
• playing and engaging with the child, with age-appropriate activities to foster enrichment and development
• preparing and administering age-appropriate nutritious and healthy meals and snacks for the child
• preparing bottles of milk for the child
• tidying up and maintaining the child's bedroom (including changing sheets) and play areas
• cleaning and sanitising bottles and tableware
• keeping the kitchen and dining area tidy following the child's meal and snack times
• doing the child's laundry (washing, drying and putting away clothes)

They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
