German speaking Live out Nanny

Family-based in Hackney, London is seeking a Full Time Live Out German-speaking Nanny to look after their lovely baby. The working hours for this job would be Monday to Friday, full time with some flexibility. One weekend per month, up to a maximum of 6 months per year, proxy parenting will be needed. In exchange for that, the family would be able to offer a day off during the week.

The family is looking for someone who speaks German to help the child learn the language at an early age. They are looking for a friendly, approachable and active Nanny. A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position. Flexibility to travel with the family when needed would be ideal.

The family is open for both full time and part-time candidates. For the full-time position, the family will consider junior nannies as long as they have the baby experience. For the part-time position, the family prefers slightly more experienced candidates.

Duties will include

• changing nappies,
• cleaning and sterilising bottles,
• taking the baby to music groups and baby activities,
• following sleep and feeding schedules for the baby,
• taking track of the child’s development and updating the parents,
• making sure the child is always safe and happy,
• taking to doctor’s appointment and helping the child with a bedtime routine.

The Nanny will also be responsible for doing some light housekeeping such as

• organising the child’s clothes,
• doing laundry and ironing the child’s clothes,
• making sure the child’s room is always clean

They have a friendly dog, it would be great if the Nanny could walk the dog together with the baby from time to time but this is not a must, but the Nanny should at least be dog-friendly. The family would like someone to start as soon as possible.
