German speaking Rota Nanny

A German-speaking Rota Nanny is needed by a family in Chelsea, London to look after their toddler and their lovely school-aged child. The family is open for both Live-In and Live-out candidates. The family has another nanny so you will be working together. A Nanny who has experience working within a fully staffed household would be beneficial. The family is looking for a Nanny who is a team player, organised, creative and who will see their position as a very important one within the children, and family’s life.

The working hours for this position would be on a rota basis, could be 1 week on and 1 week off or 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off with a 24/7 cover. The Nanny must be able to plan for their time so that it is developmentally and socially enhancing for both children. They travel regularly so someone flexible to travel is ideal.

The Rota Nanny will be responsible for

• picking up children from nursery/school and taking them home,
• organising fun and stimulating age-appropriate activities,
• arranging playdates,
• preparing snacks and dinner for the children,
• making sure the children are always happy and safe,
• helping with bath and bedtime routine,
• help with laundry and tidying up after the children.

The Nanny will also be responsible for doing some light childcare housekeeping such as

• organising the children’s clothes,
• doing laundry and ironing the children’s clothes,
• making sure the children’s room is always clean
• and doing occasional grocery shopping of the children’s supplies.

A German speaker is needed for this role to help the children communicate using the language. Someone who can drive is a big plus. The family would need someone to start as soon as possible. To learn more about this role, please apply and a consultant will contact you with more information.
