Hiring Nanny-Housekeeper in Islington, London, Job ID J21E36

A lovely family based in Islington is looking for an experienced Nanny Housekeeper to support their 14-year-old son, who will be homeschooled from September. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience and be confident supporting a teenager with ADHD.

The role combines childcare and household support. The nanny will help with the child's daily routine, homeschooling, meals, activities, and general development, while also keeping the family home clean, organised, and well maintained.

The successful candidate should be warm, organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently. Cooking with the son and supporting his development through practical activities would be an important part of the role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 25 to 30 hours per week, with hours from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM.

Duties include:

• caring for and supporting a 14-year-old teenager
• supporting the child's homeschooling and educational development
• establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
• preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the family
• cooking with the son as part of his development
• keeping the child's bedroom and play areas clean and organised
• carrying out general housekeeping duties throughout the home
• vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
• cleaning bathrooms and the kitchen
• managing laundry, ironing, and linens
• making beds and changing bed linens
• keeping dishes and household areas organised
• providing support and care for the family's cat

The family is looking for someone who can start on 1 September 2026.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
