A lovely family in Southampton is seeking an energetic Housekeeper to join their household. The role will primarily focus on housekeeping duties, working alongside another full-time housekeeper and a part-time housekeeper who covers days off. All general housekeeping tasks are expected, and a driver is required for this position. The family has pets, so they are looking for someone who is comfortable with pet care as part of the role.

Working hours: 5 days a week, Thursday to Monday, 10 hours per day

Accommodation: One-bedroom Flat in the state

Duties include:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of a private residence
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and other household surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• Carrying out regular cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and household linens
• Managing all laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
• Making beds and changing bed linen as needed
• Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Preparing simple, healthy meals for the family
• Providing general care for the family’s friendly pets

The family is seeking someone who can start on the 1st of October 2025.
