Housekeeper for a live-in job

A Housekeeper for a family in Abingdon, Oxfordshire is needed to help them maintain the cleanliness of their home. They seek someone organised and hardworking who takes initiative with all general housekeeping tasks. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family. A driver who holds a full driving license is a requirement for this role.

Working hours: 5 days per week, from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, approximately 40 hours per week (flexibility for weekends)

Accommodation: Private Room, shared bathroom with other housekeeper.

Duties include:

• loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
• dusting furniture
• freshening the rooms
• doing the laundry and ironing of the family
• dusting
• hoovering the carpets and floors
• ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
• polishing floor
• preparing and cooking simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
• running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills
