Housekeeper in Birmingham

A reliable Housekeeper is required in the Birmingham area to assist a busy family in maintaining their home in an exceptionally clean environment. Someone who knows how to drive would be a bonus for this role but this is not essential. All general housekeeping duties will be expected in this position. They own a lovely dog so the housekeeper must be comfortable around animals.

The Birmingham family is open for full-time live-in and/or part-time candidates.

Working hours: Monday to Friday (6 to 10 hours per day within 7 AM to 7 PM)

Duties include:

• Maintaining a clean family home.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors.
• Dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings.
• Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs and showers.
• Deep cleaning the kitchen.
• Washing clothes.
• Unloading the laundry and organising the clothes.
• Ironing.
• Making up the beds and changing the linens.
• Washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher.
• Cleaning the windows and mirrors.
