A warm and welcoming family in Notting Hill, London, is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard and prepare meals for the family. They are looking for someone kind, caring, and proactive who will become a valued member of their household. The role includes all general housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, organised, and comfortable home, as well as occasional ad-hoc tasks related to the family’s daughter. While no direct childcare will be required, the child is home-schooled and will need daily support with homework. This position would suit an individual with a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative whilst fitting seamlessly into a family environment. As the family has a dog and two cats, a pet-friendly candidate would be ideal.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, approximately 25 hours per week

Duties include:

• Provide ad hoc support with school runs, activity drop-offs, and pick-ups
• Prepare and share lunch with the child, offering companionship and supervision
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented family home
• Sweep, hoover, and mop floors
• Dust and polish furniture, fittings, and surfaces
• Clean wash basins, baths, and showers
• Carry out deep cleaning of the kitchen
• Wash clothes and household linens
• Manage laundry, including unloading, folding, and organising clothing
• Iron clothes and linens as required
• Make beds and change sheets regularly
• Wash up and load/unload the dishwasher
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Run errands such as visiting the post office, dry cleaners, and carrying out grocery shopping

They are looking for someone who can start in September 2025.
