Housekeeper, part-time position now open, Job ID J19054

A family in the Richmond area is looking for a Part-time Housekeeper to assist them in maintaining a clean and organised home. An ideal candidate will be someone organised and hardworking who takes initiative with all general housekeeping tasks. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family. The family owns a dog so someone pet-friendly is ideal but is not a must. They prefer someone who is self-employed.

Working hours: Tuesday and Friday ideally 16 hour per week on a flexible schedule (7:30 am or 9:00 am start can be flexible with the days), also open to 3 days a week for 6 hours each, can be a Saturday for one of the days.

The part time housekeeper will be responsible for

• loading the dishwasher/ doing the dishes
• dusting furniture
• freshening the rooms
• doing the laundry and ironing of the family
• dusting
• hoovering the carpets and floors
• ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
• polishing floor
• preparing simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
• running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills

They would like someone to start as soon as possible.
