Internation Nanny in Jersey, Job ID J21BD2

A family in Jersey is seeking a full-time, live-in nanny to care for their two children. They are looking for a warm, positive, and engaging nanny, with a primary focus on caring for the baby during the day, while also supporting the older child after school. The family employs a housekeeper, so duties are limited to childcare-related tasks only. A good level of English; a German or Polish speaker would be a bonus. A driver is preferred, and a car can be provided. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8-10 hours per day, with a preference for one late evening each week.

Accommodation: Self-contained guest cottage attached to the main house, featuring a private entrance, separate bedroom, and dedicated living room.

Duties include:

• Delivering tailored curriculum, supporting schoolwork, preparing children for entrance exams, and teaching languages or musical instruments.
• Liaising with tutors on schedules and material.
• Ensure the child is in a schedule and routine.
• Planning activities for the children, including arranging trips to museums, galleries.
• Organising playdates with the children's friends.
