A private family based in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee the smooth daily running of their household and maintain the property to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and will speak fluent English. Someone highly organised, discreet, professional, flexible, and confident managing a large private household would be ideal for this role.

The House Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily household operations, coordinating household schedules, and supervising a team of 10 household staff. This will include recruitment, training, rota planning, and performance management to ensure high standards of service at all times.

The role will also include booking domestic and international travel, arranging flights, hotels, transfers, itineraries, visas, and travel documents when required. The candidate will also manage household budgets, invoices, supplier payments, inventories, and supplies.

The House Manager will liaise with contractors, service providers, and external suppliers, as well as coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects. They will also organise family events, appointments, and personal requests, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Accommodation will either be an en-suite room in the house or separate accommodation. Travel to Europe and worldwide destinations with the family may be required. A driver would be a bonus, but this is not essential.

Working hours: 6 days per week, 12 hours per day, with flexibility required

Duties include:

  • travelling with the family when required

The family is looking for someone who can start on 6 July 2026.
