A lovely couple who recently welcomed their first baby in December is looking for a professional nanny to take over from their wonderful maternity nurse in mid-March 2026. The role focuses solely on the child, encompassing all nursery duties, cooking fresh meals once weaning begins, and light housekeeping tasks specifically related to the baby. The family also employs a full-time housekeeper to manage the rest of the home. The family travels frequently and is looking for a nanny who is happy to join them on their trips. This position is available on either a live-in or live-out basis for candidates already local to Copenhagen. As there is a gentle and friendly Labrador in the home, it is essential that the nanny is a genuine dog lover. Applicants must hold an EU passport or the right to work in Denmark. A valid first-aid qualification is a must.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8 to 10 hours per day with flexibility for a half day on Saturday

Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom in the family's flat

Duties include:

• cooking healthy meals for the child
• following morning and afternoon routines
• changing nappies and helping with potty/toilet training
• teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
• creating activities and playdates
• preparing and administering healthy food for the child
• preparing and assisting with bathtime and bedtime
• cleaning and washing up after child’s meals
• reporting every activity and issue to the parents

The family is keen to hire someone to start by mid-March 2026.
