International Nanny in Vienna, Part-time role, Job ID J22848

A wonderful family, well-known to the agency, is looking for an energetic, proactive, and pedagogically minded Part-Time Weekend International Nanny to care for their three children (ages 2, 4, and 6, who attend school and nursery, including the French Lycée). The family employs a full-time weekday afternoon nanny, meaning your primary focus will be managing dynamic weekends, traveling with the family, and providing proxy-parenting support.

The ideal candidate will have solid professional childcare and travel experience, a switched-on and organized approach, and the ability to foster a fun, safe, and stimulating environment. A driver's licence is a welcome bonus.

Accommodation: A private 30 sqm studio flat with air conditioning, located within a 5-minute walk from the family home, is provided year-round. This role is ideally suited for someone studying or tutoring during the week, as weekdays remain mostly free.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Duties include:

• organizing fun, active, and educational weekend schedules, including cycling, gymnastics, swimming, sensory play, and outdoor trips
• managing morning wake-ups, bedtime routines, meals, and proxy-parenting when parents are occupied or away
• preparing light, healthy weekend meals and snacks for the children
• accompanying the family on regular weekend getaways and school holiday trips (such as bank holidays, Christmas, February, and summer breaks, max 1–2 weeks at a time), handling travel logistics and on-site activities
• providing occasional weekday evening babysitting or stepping in as backup coverage if the weekday nanny is unwell

The family is looking for someone to start in October 2026, allowing for a smooth handover with the outgoing nanny.
