Live-in Au-pair in SO24, Job ID J1ED0B

A lovely family based in Winchester, Hampshire, is seeking a caring Au Pair or Junior Nanny to support the care of their four young children. The family values a nurturing, playful environment, and the ideal candidate will be energetic, patient, and enthusiastic about engaging with young children. The family is looking for someone reliable, organised, and proactive, with some experience caring for young children; experience with multiples is a plus. This live-in position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a happy, supportive household while making a meaningful contribution to the children’s daily life. A valid first-aid qualification is required.

Working hours: Flexible schedule, covering weekdays and some weekend days.

Accommodation: Bedroom and bathroom shared with guestroom on opposite side of house from children and parents.

Duties include:

• Assist with daily routines, including feeding, nappy changes, potty training, dressing, and bedtime.
• Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities to support learning and development,
• Support nap times and help children settle for sleep,
• Prepare meals and snacks for the children safely and hygienically,
• Perform light housekeeping related to childcare, including tidying play areas, washing bottles, and doing children’s laundry.
• Provide occasional night care when required,
• Maintain clear and professional communication with parents regarding children’s progress, behaviour, and daily activities,
• Tidy and organise children’s areas and toys,
• Wash and manage children’s laundry,

They are looking for someone to start on Monday, 1 December 2025.
