Live-in Au Pair, Job ID J1C6A8

A Live-in Au Pair is needed by a lovely family in Ilford, Essex to help them look after their school-aged child and a toddler. They seek someone flexible and proactive who can carry out all childcare duties and someone who wants to be part of the family. The role includes cooking for the children, assist with childcare and accompany the children to age-appropriate activities.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Wednesday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Thursday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, approximately 25 hours per week

Accommodation: Bedroom and shared bathroom

Duties include:

• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Light housekeeping in relation to the children
• Cooking for the children - preparing breakfast and lunches
