An English-fluent Governess is needed by this family located in Berkshire to help them with their child's learning and development. This position is open to live-in or live-out candidates. The ideal candidate will be QTS-must who can confidently enforce positive discipline, provide reliable holiday cover, and travel abroad with the family.

They are looking for someone pet-friendly as they have 2 dogs - no pet care is required. Driving is essential for this role, and an automatic car will be provided by the family.

First Aid qualification is essential for this role.

Accommodation: Separate flat

Working hours: 5 days a week; weekends are required. Happy for the candidate to choose 2 days off during the week

Duties include:

• Managing the child's before and after-school routine to support the child's structure and development
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the child's educational growth
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books with the child
• Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
• Light housekeeping related to the child
• Keeping the child's bedroom and play areas clean and tidy
