Live-in Housekeeper, £770 to £875 gross per week, Job ID J1C8DD

A fantastic family in Kensington, London is looking for a Live-in Housekeeper to help them in maintaining the cleanliness of their home. They seek someone trustworthy, hardworking, and proactive who takes initiative with all general housekeeping duties. The role also involves assisting the client with cooking, so basic cooking skills are essential, with a strong preference for candidates knowledgeable in Vegan meals. The housekeeper must also be comfortable wearing a uniform.

Working hours:

Scenario 1 (when clients are not there): Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, approximately 45 hours per week

Scenario 2: (when clients are present): 5 days per week inclusive of weekends when needed, ideally from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm with breaks in between, approximately 60 hours per week

Accommodation: Bedroom ensuite with a separate entrance

Duties include:

• Handling all laundry tasks, including washing, drying, and ironing
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Making beds and regularly changing bed linens
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all floor areas
• Deep cleaning bathrooms and the kitchen to maintain hygiene standards
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher and cleaning kitchen surfaces
• Ensuring the home is kept in an exceptionally clean and orderly condition
• Polishing silverware and maintaining the care of marble surfaces
