Live-in Housekeeper in Ascot, Job ID J1EAE0

This lovely family based in Ascot, Berkshire, is seeking a Live-in Housekeeper to keep their home clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Someone who speaks Tagalog or Nepali would be a bonus. All general housekeeping duties are required for this role, along with cooking. The family has two dogs that stay outside, so the candidate must be comfortable around pets. While minimal direct childcare is required, the housekeeper should be at ease around children. Accommodation includes a private bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen, and the role is available for a January start. The ideal candidate will be experienced, reliable, and hardworking.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 7:00 pm

Accommodation: Spacious bedroom with separate bathroom and kitchen.

Duties include:

• No direct childcare duties, but must be flexible to support the mother if required and comfortable around children
• Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
• Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed
• Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Cooking healthy meals for the family
• Must be comfortable around dogs (2 dogs that stay outside)
