A family based in Dorking, Surrey, is looking for an experienced Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper to maintain their large, modern 6-bedroom, 6-bathroom home over 2 floors, which features extensive glass and mirrors.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience and be comfortable preparing healthy meals for the family. Being a driver is considered a wonderful bonus. Accommodation is provided in a separate space featuring your own bedroom, bathroom, and private entrance. The role involves traveling with the family to Europe.

Pet care is a key part of this position, as the family owns 3 dogs (including walking a large dog daily and caring for two toy Pomeranians). While there are no direct childcare duties—the family has two older children, one in school and one heading to university—responsibilities include ironing their clothes and cooking.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00 AM through to dinner time (latest 8:00 PM).

Accommodation: Separate accommodation with your own bedroom, bathroom, and private entrance.

Duties include:

• ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the 6-bedroom, 6-bathroom modern residence, with a strong focus on glass and mirror maintenance
• performing routine floor care (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping), dusting, and polishing surfaces
• cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities and maintaining the kitchen area
• managing laundry tasks, including washing, drying, organising clothing and linens, ironing (including for the children), making beds, and handling dishware
• cooking all meals for the family, with a strong emphasis on healthy food
• handling pet care duties for 3 dogs, including walking the large dog daily and caring for two toy Pomeranians
• travelling with the family to Europe

The family is looking for someone who can start on 7 September 2026.
