This lovely family based in Romsey, Hampshire, is looking for a Live-in Housekeeper to maintain their house clean and organised. All general Housekeeping duties are required in this role. The family is seeking a dedicated and proactive Housekeeper to join their home. focusing on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation throughout the residence. While there are no formal cooking or childcare duties at the start of the placement, the family is looking for a forward-thinking professional who can grow with them; flexibility to assist with light meal prep or simple cooking in the coming months would be a significant advantage. Additionally, with a new baby on the way, the ideal candidate will be naturally child-friendly and comfortable working in a home that will soon become a busy family environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for a reliable and warm housekeeper to establish a long-term, supportive role within a growing household. The family is looking for someone comfortable travelling since they would be spending the vacation out of the country.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Accommodation: Own Separate Bedroom with Kitchen & Bathroom.

Duties include:

• No specific childcare duties from the start of placement, but a child-friendly nanny preferable with a child on the way in several months.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence.
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers.
• Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area.
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens.
• Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding.
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed.
• Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.
• No specific cooking duties, but flexibility if light cooking/meal prep becomes a requirement in the coming months.
