A welcoming family in Oslo is seeking a dedicated, child-friendly Live-in Housekeeper to maintain their 600-square-meter residence. The household is dynamic, with a newborn arriving in May (supported by a maternity nurse) and two young children (ages 2 and 4) who attend kindergarten. The ideal candidate enjoys being part of a family environment and can maintain a high standard of cleanliness amidst the "happy chaos" of a growing home.
Working hours: Schedule: 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) Shift Options: Monday – Friday OR Tuesday – Saturday
Accommodation:: private, on-site accommodation: a separate studio apartment.
Key Responsibilities
The primary focus is on maintaining an exceptionally clean and organized environment:
Laundry & Wardrobe Care: Full laundry service, including expert ironing.
General Housekeeping: Dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Bed & Bath: Making beds, changing linens, and deep cleaning all 4 bathrooms.
Kitchen Maintenance: Deep cleaning the kitchen and managing dishwasher cycles.
Child Interaction: While primarily a housekeeping role, you must love being around children and feel comfortable in a home with toddlers and a newborn.
The family is looking for someone to start this January 2026.
