Live-in Housekeeper to assist a busy household, Job ID J1CB30

A Live-in Housekeeper is needed by this busy household based in Wokingham, Berkshire

 to help them maintain their home clean and well organised. An ideal candidate will be someone experienced and flexible who takes initiative with all general housekeeping tasks. Someone who is a confident cook will be a bonus, with a strong preference for candidates knowledgeable in Chinese cuisine. They have three dogs which is needed to be walked from time to time and feed when required so someone pet-friendly is ideal for this role. A driver is required for this position, and the candidate should be comfortable driving both automatic and manual vehicles.

Working hours: Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule

Accommodation: Private bedroom

Duties include:

• loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
• dusting furniture
• freshening the rooms
• doing the laundry and ironing of the family
• dusting
• hoovering the carpets and floors
• ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
• polishing floor
• preparing and cooking simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
• running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills

They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
