Live-in Housekeeper

A family based in the Knutsford, Cheshire area is looking for a Live-in Housekeeper to help maintain the upkeep of their home and to take charge of preparing and cooking meals for the family. They seek someone organised and hardworking candidate who takes initiative with all general housekeeping tasks. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals and a bonus if has knowledge of cooking Indian meals. A driver would be a bonus but is not a must for this role. The family travels to Europe and the nanny-housekeeper must be able to accompany them.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, 50 hours per week

Accommodation: Annexe being newly refurbished

Duties include:

• maintaining a clean family home
• sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
• dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
• cleaning washbasins, bathtubs and showers
• deep cleaning the kitchen
• washing clothes
• unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
• ironing
• making up the beds and changing the linens
• washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• cleaning the windows and mirrors

A Live-in Housekeeper must be willing to start in January 2024 but the family are happy to meet lovely candidates.
