Live-in International Nanny in New York City, Job ID J20EAB

A warm family based in Manhattan, New York City, is seeking an experienced, long-term Live-in Nanny to care for their 4-month-old. Both parents are busy professionals and travel frequently, so they are looking for a calm, organised, kind and engaging presence at home. The ideal candidate will be proactive and confident, while also being respectful and discreet within the household. Strong organisational skills, initiative, and an interest in healthy cooking and meal preparation are desired. English communication is required, and additional language skills in Tagalog, Spanish, French, or Persian would be a plus. The family is also open to sponsoring the right candidate for a US visa, given that they meet all requirements.

Accommodation: Shared room with baby in early stage of employment to support infant care requirements, with provision of a private room as the child grows older.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 to 10 hours per day with occasional late evenings on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Duties include:

• General upkeep and cleanliness of a 3-bedroom apartment
• Managing laundry tasks - washing, drying, ironing and folding
• Changing bed linens when needed
• Engaging in age-appropriate stimulation activities (tummy time, sensory play, talking and singing)
• Preparing and sterilising bottles, according to the baby's feeding schedule
• Assisting with nappy changes and bath time
• Maintaining the baby's bedroom and play areas clean and tidy
• Assisting with grocery shopping, meal prepping, following recipes and batch cooking nutritious and healthy meals

The family is looking for someone to start in June 2026.
