A wonderful family based in Weybridge, Surrey is looking for a Live-in Nanny to provide attentive care for their precious baby. They are looking for someone warm, dependable, and enthusiastic who can carry out all typical childcare duties. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with similar ages and be confident in supporting their child's growth and development through age-appropriate activities, consistent routines, and gentle guidance. The family has a dog at home so someone pet-friendly is ideal for this role. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Tuesday to Friday for 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule

Duties include:

  • Encourage crawling, pulling up to stand, cruising along furniture
  • Read books, sing songs, and talk to encourage language development
  • Provide age-appropriate toys to stimulate fine motor skills and curiosity
  • Play interactive games like peek-a-boo or stacking blocks
  • Consistent nap and bedtime routine
  • Change diapers regularly.
  • Introduce a variety of textures (purees, mashed foods, soft finger foods)
  • Encourage self-feeding with appropriate finger foods
  • Keep offering water in a sippy cup
