Live-in Nanny for a newborn baby and a school aged child

A lovely family in Clapham, London seeks an experienced nanny to work in a full-time live-in position and help them in taking care of their newborn and a school aged child. The Nanny must be flexible to travel with the family for around 4-8 weeks. They will hire a maternity nurse for a month, and the family is looking for someone happy to work as a team. Someone who speaks Hindi, Sinhala, Sinhalese, and Tagalog would be a bonus. A nanny with at least 3 years of childcare and newborn experience is a requirement.

Working hours: 7 am until 7 pm, 5 days a week, including Saturday and Sunday ideally

Accommodation: Private double room

Duties include:

• preparing milk
• organising the children’s daily schedule
• changing nappies
• cleaning and sterilising bottles
• setting up nap routine
• washing and dressing the children
• playing with the children
• taking track of the children’s development and updating the parents
• making sure the children are always safe and happy
• taking to doctor’s appointments and helping the children with the bedtime routine
• organising the children’s clothes
• doing laundry and ironing the children’s clothes
• making sure the children’s room is always clean
• doing occasional grocery shopping for the children’s supplies

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position. The family is looking for someone to start in late November.
