Live In Nanny Housekeeper Job

A family based in Jersey is looking for a Live In Nanny Housekeeper to join them and take care of their two school-aged children and maintain their property to a high standard. The working hours for the position would be Monday to Friday, full time. A Valid First Aid Qualification is essential for this role.

The family is looking for someone efficient and has warm positive vibe to inspire in the kids the value of optimism and genuine love. A confident and responsible driver is a must. Excellent accommodation will be provided.

Duties will include:

• Helping children with after-school activities like homework
• Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Providing supervision and constant care to children
• Being disciplined with the children when required
• Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas
• Playing with the children and taking them to the park
• Planning and organising age-related activities
• Stimulating children to read and be active
• Reading to and with the children
• Implementing daily routines

Housekeeping Duties:

• Doing the laundry and ironing of the family
• Dusting
• Hoovering the carpets and floors
• Ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
• Polishing floor
• Preparing simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
• Cleaning up after meals
• Changing bedsheets once a week
• Maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the family

The family like to travel for up to 3 months in a year and the candidate will be encouraged to join them but this is not a must. They would like someone to start as soon as possible.
